Our removal crew handles every detail: lights come down in order, garlands are packed properly, hardware is removed without damaging your home, and everything is transported to our warehouse for safe storage until next season.

Complete removal and storage is included with every installation. You don’t need to climb a ladder in January, and you don’t need to find space in your garage. We handle it all.

Is removal included in the installation price?

Yes. Complete removal and warehouse storage are included with every installation at no extra charge. When the season is over, we come back, take everything down, and store it for you.

When do you do removal?

Removal typically happens in January, though the exact timing depends on the season and your preference. During the design process, we’ll discuss your preferred removal window. If you want lights to stay up through New Year’s, that’s no problem.

Do you store my lights?

Yes. All lights, garlands, hardware, and materials are transported to our warehouse and stored in organized, labeled containers until next season. When it’s time to install again, everything is clean, organized, and ready.

Will removal damage my home?

No. Our crew is trained to remove everything carefully, in the reverse order of installation, without damaging your roofline, siding, gutters, or landscaping. We do a walk-around inspection before we leave to make sure your property looks clean.

I was fortunate enough to have a voucher from a fundraiser to put towards our holiday lighting. Karla from LUYH reached out to me in June to begin the planning process. Even though it was early, I was so happy to have my decisions made well in advance. There are too many things to worry about around the holidays! My experience with Karla was wonderful. Karla is exceptional at her job. She presented and described options to me and was very patient while I made my decision. Once decided, a payment and installation schedule were presented to me. The entire process was so easy, from start to finish. Installation was very professional, as was the communication throughout the process, through removal of decorations/lighting. Text updates and reminders were helpful and appreciated. Installation was around Thanksgiving, but it was up to me when I wanted to flip the switch. I turned everything on when the install crew was present, and it looked outstanding! In fact, my next-door neighbor noticed and came outside to compliment me on our installation. The quality of the greenery and lights is really wonderful and clearly professional grade products are used. I may change my design for next year, and even though it’s only January, I’m already thinking of fresh design ideas for our home.
